Neyo is committed to conducting its business in a sustainable manner, minimizing its environmental impact, and contributing to the UK’s sustainability goals. This Sustainability Policy outlines our approach to promoting environmental stewardship, reducing carbon emissions, and ensuring responsible resource management across all areas of our operations.Scope
This policy applies to all employees, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders involved in Neyo’s operations. It covers all activities related to energy use, waste management, procurement, travel, and office operations, and aligns with UK sustainability regulations and best practices.Legal and Regulatory Compliance
Neyo is committed to complying with all relevant UK sustainability regulations, standards, and guidelines, including:- Climate Change Act 2008: Establishes legally binding targets for reducing greenhouse gas emissions, including the UK’s commitment to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050.
- The Environment Act 2021: Introduces legally binding environmental improvement targets related to air quality, water resources, waste management, and biodiversity.
- Energy Efficiency (Private Rented Property) (England and Wales) Regulations 2015: Requires energy efficiency improvements in rented properties.
- Waste (England and Wales) Regulations 2011: Provides guidance on managing waste responsibly, with a focus on reducing, reusing, and recycling.
- UK Net Zero Strategy: Sets out the UK government’s approach to transitioning to a low-carbon economy.
- The Renewable Energy Guarantees of Origin (REGO) Scheme: Ensures transparency in energy sourcing and promotes renewable energy use.

- Ethical and sustainable procurement: Prioritizing suppliers and contractors that follow sustainable and ethical practices.

Energy Management
We are committed to reducing our energy consumption and promoting the use of renewable energy. Our energy management initiatives include:- Energy Efficiency: Implementing energy-saving measures in our offices, such as LED lighting, smart meters, and energy-efficient appliances.
- Renewable Energy: Where possible, we will source our energy from renewable sources such as solar, wind, and hydropower, in line with the Renewable Energy Guarantees of Origin (REGO) Scheme.
- Carbon Footprint Reduction: We will assess and monitor our carbon emissions and implement strategies to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions, including using renewable energy, improving efficiency, and offsetting unavoidable emissions through certified carbon offset programs.
Waste Management
We are committed to reducing the amount of waste we produce and managing waste responsibly. Our waste management approach includes:- Reduce, Reuse, Recycle: Implementing practices to reduce waste generation and increase the recycling of materials, including paper, plastics, electronics, and packaging, in line with the Waste (England and Wales) Regulations 2011.
- E-Waste: Ensuring the responsible disposal and recycling of electronic waste in compliance with the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Regulations 2013.
- Minimizing Single-Use Plastics: Phasing out the use of single-use plastics wherever possible and replacing them with sustainable alternatives.

This policy will be communicated to all employees, contractors, and suppliers. Implementation of Policy
This policy shall be deemed effective as of 10/09/2024. No part of this Policy shall have retroactive effect and shall thus apply only to matter occurring on or after this date.This policy will be reviewed annually and updated as necessary to reflect changes in this policy and company objectives.
