Environment Policy
Purpose
Neyo is committed to minimizing the environmental impact of its operations and contributing to environmental sustainability in alignment with UK environmental laws and regulations. This policy outlines our approach to environmental management, ensuring compliance with legal obligations, reducing our carbon footprint, and promoting sustainable practices across all aspects of our business.
Scope
This policy applies to all employees, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders involved in Neyo’s operations. It covers all activities related to our business, including office management, project delivery, travel, procurement, and waste management.
Legal and Regulatory Compliance
Neyo commits to complying with all relevant environmental legislation and regulations in the UK, including but not limited to:
- Environmental Protection Act 1990
- Climate Change Act 2008
- The Waste (England and Wales) Regulations 2011
- The UK Net Zero Target (Net Zero by 2050)
- Energy Performance of Buildings Regulations
- Hazardous Waste Regulations
Wherever possible, we will exceed these minimum requirements by adopting best practices for environmental management.
Environmental Objectives
Neyo is dedicated to:
- Reducing carbon emissions: Through energy-efficient operations, minimizing travel, promoting remote working, and using renewable energy sources.
- Sustainable resource use: Minimizing the consumption of water, energy, and raw materials in our offices and project delivery.
- Waste reduction and recycling: Implementing a waste management program that encourages reduction, reuse, and recycling of materials.
- Minimizing pollution: Preventing pollution and reducing the environmental impact of our activities, including emissions to air, water, and land.
- Sustainable procurement: Sourcing goods and services from environmentally responsible suppliers, giving preference to those with sustainable practices.
Energy and Carbon Reduction
- Energy efficiency: We will regularly assess and improve the energy efficiency of our office buildings and equipment, using energy-saving measures such as LED lighting, energy-efficient appliances, and automatic power-off systems.
- Renewable energy: Wherever possible, Neyo will use renewable energy sources, such as solar or wind power, and will work to reduce reliance on fossil

Travel and Transport
- Reducing business travel: We will minimize non-essential travel and promote the use of video conferencing and digital communication
- Encouraging sustainable transport: Where travel is necessary, we will prioritize public transportation, cycling, and carpooling. For company vehicles, we will aim to use electric or hybrid vehicles to reduce emissions.

Sustainable Procurement
We will source products and services from suppliers that demonstrate strong environmental credentials, such as certified sustainable materials, eco-friendly packaging, and fair trade.
Where possible, we will purchase locally to reduce transportation emissions and support local businesses.
Office Practices
- Water conservation: We will implement measures to reduce water consumption in our offices, such as installing water-saving devices and encouraging employees to be mindful of water use.
- Green office design: We will consider environmental factors in the design and layout of our office spaces, using eco-friendly materials and promoting natural light to reduce energy consumption.
Employee Involvement
All employees will be encouraged to adopt environmentally friendly practices and will receive training on how to reduce their environmental impact at work.
We will establish an internal “Green Team” responsible for promoting sustainability initiatives, monitoring performance, and providing recommendations for improvement.
Monitoring and Reporting
We will regularly monitor our environmental performance, using key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress on energy consumption, waste reduction, and carbon emissions.
Annual environmental audits will be conducted to assess our compliance with this policy and identify opportunities for improvement.
Progress reports will be shared with employees, stakeholders, and clients, demonstrating our commitment to environmental responsibility.
Continuous Improvement
Neyo is committed to continuously improving its environmental performance. We will set ambitious environmental targets and review this policy regularly to ensure it reflects the latest environmental legislation, technological advancements, and best practices.
Communication and Engagement
This policy will be communicated to all employees, contractors, and suppliers. We will also make this policy publicly available to clients and stakeholders via our website and other communication channels.

Implementation of Policy
This policy shall be deemed effective as of 10/09/2024. No part of this Policy shall have retroactive effect and shall thus apply only to matter occurring on or after this date.
This policy will be reviewed annually and updated as necessary to reflect changes in environmental regulations and company objectives.
